About

Established 50 Years Ago

Established by Ken Parker and John Oliver.

Based at Spital Bridge in Whitby before moving to the town’s Eskside Wharf in 1992, we have grown tenfold and are now recognised as one of the leading boat builders in the UK.

We’ve come a long way since we built our first new boat, the Jacqueline Anne, in 1997, developing from a five-man repair business operation in the 1970s to a workforce of over 70 people. We have experienced success based around good design and a quality product that consistently exceeds client expectations”, Managing Director Jim Morrison.

In 2017 we opened a second yard in Middlesbrough. This enables us to service unprecedented demand and build bigger, more diverse types of vessels.

"We’ve come a long way since we built our first new boat"

"Today’s team shares the passion of our two founders and has a wealth of experience in fabrication, civil engineering, project management and design innovation. With skill, passion and a solid reputation, we continue defining exciting stages of our evolution."
