John joined Parkol in January 2026 after years of training our employees as an independent training instructor. His career started in 1978 at an office furniture manufacturing company, where he progressed from a machine operator to Operations Manager. After 30 years of employment, John decided to set up his own company, delivering commercial training for a variety of plant machines to various businesses in Sheffield area, which he continued after moving to Whitby in 2016. Ten years later John was ready to stop travelling and to get a local position, which Parkol was happy to offer, knowing John’s professionalism and vast experience in Health & Safety. John provides on-the-job training of Parkol workforce and, supported by Geoff and Mihaela, oversees Health & Safety compliance on both sites.
