Last week Parkol hosted a small naming ceremony for the New Build 071 – 8-metre aluminium catamaran, built as a stock item.
Parkol’s first build of this kind, she was completed at the time of our late colleague Josephine (Jo) Himsworth’s first anniversary and it’s been decided to name the vessel after Jo.
With Jo’s family and friends’ blessing, the shiny new catamaran was named ‘Jo Jo’, a bottle of champagne was smashed, happy memories of Jo shared on that beautiful sunny spring day.
