Project Details

Steel-hulled motor fishing vessel, having double chine hull, transom stern, semi-bulbous bow, soft nose stem and with full length shelter deck. Arranged for seine net fishing and trawling with a crew of 5 men. She is capable of carrying approximately 20,000 litres of fuel, 6,000 litres of fresh water and her ice locker capacity is of 10 tonnes. Below deck she is subdivided by three watertight bulkheads into: aft accommodation with steering gear, engine room, fishroom and forepeak tank/store. The main deck has an athwartships, steel casing centered aft of midships for galley, mess and washroom, with an aluminium fish hopper to starboard. Aft side: a steel shelter and integral gallow arrangement over the net mending area, open aft. Forward side: a non-weathertight aluminium alloy shelter over the fish handling area and rope reels. The forward section of the shelter, over the focsle store, is steel. Shelter deck has a net drum, power block crane, gilsen frame, trawl gallows, aluminium alloy wheelhouse and a landing crane.
